ICAN assessment

Hi does anybody know roughly how much ICAN charge for an assessment, is it hundreds or thousands, been looking at the website and i am very interested in havingmy son assessed by them in nottingham. thanks

I assume you mean the childrens communication/speach thing? Is there a specific reason for you needing this? I would give them a call/email

Hi pokhara... We will be having an assessment for our DS at moorhouse school in oxted if deemed appropriate -waiting for EP assessment -this costs £1050 for a day and half.I would imagine they are similar in costs ,there are extra costs for OT and SALT also. We have 2 schools in mind but are waiting for his cognitive ability to make an informed decision.We are appealing to SEND for our final statement that has just arrived ...hope this helps a bit!

hi we went in December to meath house in Surrey and the cost is 1300 for 2 full days includes ot,ep specialist teachers and salt reports

Depending on income there is help available but give them a call was what I did and they had a chat asked see copies of any paperwork that i had .

The report is fantastic even though for me i found it quite heartbreaking see how much ds was struggling but currently using it as evidence with Lea for speech unit or quite possiably a place in the ican school
