PDD?

In the early stages of a possible diagnosis of PDD for me DS1 (5). We are in Spain and we saw educational pyschologist today and are going to get Paed referral tomorrow all being well. I have been trying to figure out what is 'wrong' with DS for a little while and feel bad for him that it has taken so long to get this far. One of the issues that he has is that he seems unable to truly understand or speak Spanish (he can communicate in English reasonably well). Anyway, it's early days and may not be PDD but we have to wait and see. I would like to get a book or two on it (especially as being in Spain there are limited resources in English.)Anyone know of a particularly good book? Or any general advice would be hugely welcome - feeling a bit alone over here!

Hello!
DD is dx PDD here in France (I think it's a more common diagnosis over on the continent than in the UK). She is also bilingual and only just starting to speak French aged 5. Will gladly write more later to share our experience but am getting the kids to bed now.

Brio.
