Statements and mooving schools?

We are in the process of getting dd2 statemented for our local MS school. What happens if we move to a near by village but she goes to a different school? Will the statement still apply? or will i need to start the process again?

The school is in the same area/council.

check your not switching areas i moved from N.E Essex to West Essex and what a mucking fuddle it is

we will be staying in the same area (west dorset).

hmm depends think on how fresh it is and if ask for named school guess they will have to ask school if they will acccept dd.
Also depends on if anychanges so becomes amended statement
