Mother kills autistic son with bleach

I just can't imagine the desperation she must have felt. Were they let down by the establishment?

It is terrible, and am I awful to say that however terrible her life had become, bleach is an awful awful way to kill a child? The fact that he took it happily off a spoon, thinking it medicine, will stick with me. Sorry, can't have much sympathy for her, she could have given him into care.

Where does it say he took it off a spoon?

I read it in a paper today, it may or may not be true, but it resonates with me as my autistic son will (trustingly) take anything I give him off a spoon.

ummm what if the boy thought it was a drink and this was just a terrible accident? Some of these bleach bottles are colourful like fruit shoot bottles! Just a thought!
