just had a call to say that dd might be very late home tonight.
why cos they are short staffed....and will have to double the buses up, so she will have to come home via Hove.....
so I said no, you can drop her off first, oh no we can't cos the other kid needs to be home for scouts!!!!!!!!!
I am so f ing angry, I have rung the company and left a complaint(manager not there yet) as every time something goes wrong dd is the one home late, and the other kids are home normal time

that's so unfair on your DD, I'ld complain to the council as well given this has happened before, given they don't seem to have the capacity to provide a proper service.

If they are that short staffed they need to draft some in from somewhere. I don't know about your bus but should imagine doubling up on some buses would be downright dangerous. If they are too short-staffed to run the normal amount of buses then are they adequately covered for double the children on one bus?

Plus they have a whole school day to find someone, they must be sailing quite close to the wind staffing wise.

thing is, dd would most likely be the only one on her bus and him on his.
so not dangerous, but I am so mad that it is yet again her who suffers.
I have rung the council department that deals with school transport and they are getting back to me.

I blew her head of
PETTY for caring about my dd.......
