Dd2 has been unwell for 4 days, i have taken her to the GP each day to tell them she's not right, each time we were sent home and told to give her calpol. With dd2 its kind of a guessing game as she can't tell me what hurts, i knew she was ill as she has a very high temp and has been sick, the sickness stopped 2 days ago but the temp got higher.
I searched the net with her symptoms as i wanted to try and get to the bottom of it, today she came out in a rash and her tongue went red and spotty.
Basicly i had to tell the GP what was wrong with her and he conformed she has Scarlet fever.
Hopefully now we have antibiotics she will soon pick up but i'm so that no one picked up on this earlier, i know its hard with a non-verbal child to know whats wrong, yesterday i had to force the GP to check her throat to see if it was sore .
Lets hope she soon feels better.
