Teeth!!

Does anybody else lo have less teeth than their peers .?

My dd is 19mths next week and bless her she only has two front teeth no signs of teething or any more coming thro..

Was chatting to her portage worker who thinks her teeth coming thro is delayed because her body has spent last year fighting off illnes after illness and not bothered producing teeth kinda thing..

Any1 else having similar experience or had similar happen? xx

DS is also 19 months old and now has a grand total of 6! He only had 2 bottom teeth which he cut at about 11 months - then over the last month he has cut 1 more, 2 top teeth and one very back tooth!
What with being very long/tall and the fact that he cannot walk he has had the benefit of looking like an alarmingly large baby for some time now!

He has been teething forever though, bless him, and his poor gums look ready to burst, but then they did 6 months ago too!

yeah my dd got hers late - think half a tooth at 17mths then nothing for a bit Just before 2nd birthday they all seemed to break out together

Hey ho - less time you have to worry about brushing em / not being able to brush em before they fall out ;)

Thanks when we tell ppl k-m is 19mths they look shocked she is so tiny and doesnt walk,only has 2 teeth hardly any hair lol x

LOL! DD is almost 12 and is yet to lose any back teeth. She was very late getting her milk teeth as well. DS2 is the same. Yet DS1 had a full mouth of teeth by 18mo, and lost his first baby tooth at 4.5yo! I was amazed, because DD didn't lose one until she was 6.5yo. DS1 is 7.9yo now, and already has all his adult front teeth and canines, and has a wobbly back tooth...DD is NOT impressed, as she is waiting for HER tooth fairy money for her back teeth....
