I am so happy. I'm moving county this summer and have just been told that there is room for both my DD's in a tiny little country school surrounded by woods, fields, ponies...really rural, very calm & peaceful. I know the school, sister's DD had a really happy time there. Only 50 children (present school 500!). Great Ofsted reports, AND most importantly they openly welcome SEN as can give lots 1-1 with v small class sizes (DD1 hearing impaired/language problems). My DD's will both be in same class so they can support eachother through the big change.
I am soooooooooo happy & relieved I haven't stopped bouncing around the house!!!!

Wow that sounds lovely kissingfrogs

Do they do a lot of outdoor provision? My DS's inner city school take part in the forest school initiative and he loves it, would be over the moon to send him to a school in a setting like you describe.

I would b bouncing around the house too.

my dd2 is part-time at a small school (60), its lovely as all the children know each other and play together, not in year groups.

Hope your DD's settle in well.
