I have just put this on my facebook message.

"I'm sorry Mrs Whiteside, even though it states on your son's LEGAL statement of special educational needs that Autism Support will be in every 4 weeks, she only works on a Tuesday and that is why Jake hasn't been seen since last September" .........So, banging his head off a brick wall because he can't tolerate school... is ok then is it ??????? Yes everyone, this is the caring world we live in.

Says it all really, isn't it a fantastic place, living in the UK with special needs kids ????

Agree with electra - IPSEA have a good model letter for if what's in the Statement isn't happening.

It is crap that provision has to be fought for so hard - all about money, isn't it

Hi electra, yes it quantifies every 4 weeks and immediate support if needed. Looks like we will be going down the legal action route again They obviously didnt learn.
