Hi,

Been having a read on here for the last few days and decided to take the plunge and join :-) I have 2 children, a son who is 21 this year and a daughter who is 4 in a couple of months.
My daughter has High Functioning Autism, Hypermobility, Dyspraxia and Asthma but is mostly a happy little girl, she attends Nursery at the moment for 15 hrs a week and has funding for one to one care for those hours more for her own safety at the moment, I look forward to getting to know you all over the coming weeks and months

Hello

CardyMow · 29/01/2010 22:49

Hi! I have 3 DC's. DD 11yo is asd, dxd dyspraxia, epilepsy, heart probs, hearing probs, hypermobility syndrome and more . DS1 7yo is fine except for being coeliac, and DS2 6yo has asd, hypermobility syndrome, chronic asthma. My DS2 sounds quite like your DD except he doesn't get the same level of support.

Welcome to the board. It's a very supportive place :-)

Hello , the people on here are the best

Mouseface · 30/01/2010 13:30

Hey

I'm new too so hope you love it as much as I do! I have a 9 month old son with a heart condition, a hole in his heart, cleft palate, Pierre Robin sequence, reflux and he's fed by tube. I'm his full time carer now my maternity leave is up and some days life is rough but I've been reading the posts here and you know, it's a huge help!!

These ladies have been through allsorts, alot of pain and have a huge amount of empathy for each other as you'll know from reading the boards. I'm addicted now! Thank God for Mumsnet!!

Hope you find it as useful as me. x
