Had a phonecall from CDAC today from the SALT, who seemed very nice and asked for my premission to go and see dd1 in school on Monday. Now Im very confused, because they have never done this before (I know SLM knows herts well )
Does this mean they are taking us more seriously this time? She asked if i understood the full meaning of nexts weeks meeting, was to hopefully decide on a dx of ASD for DD1, but i thiught it was that last time iyswim.
What will she be looking for? DD1 has excellent speech, very well spoken, if not sounding a little too posh. I gave her some examples of DD1 understanding of literal speech, but what is you expereince?
