just been to b&q on way out dh picked dd up with in seconds she went in to an absence i think it was she went stiff and straight clapping her lips her eyes glazed , not hear us call her or any thing, only lasted about at most 50 sec but was it scary. why is she having so many different types ? do i phone neruo once again or wait till me see him in march!

Phone Neuro if it a new seizure type. March is an awfully long time to wait. Has she started on any new meds lately, as I have had new types of seizures appear when I've been put on new meds. Could be a progression of the (bastard) epilepsy, or could be med related. ((HUGS))

no still not on meds for them yet! as they keep changing and its may not march i did ring two weeks ago he never got back.

If you are concerned and can't get an appt, then get to A&E. Can't believe we had to do that twice this month even though the Drs wanted DS on the ward but just couldn't get a bed! If you pester his secretary enough, your neuro may call you back?

Hope things pick up with DD - we are back in Leeds tomorrow for an MRI - not thinking about it as my imagination runs riot

i will phone am so pissed of with them tbh our pead at barnsley are great its the Sheffield ones what are twits, but them at barnsley can not give meds with out neuro say so .

Oh no poor you I remember your post about when you thought you had had something one night.

DS has had an MRI plus a PET scan but as things have got so bad they just want to check him out again.He only had the PET in summer, so i keep telling myself that surely nothing can have got really awful since then.

Things much better here with DS- came home yesterday and he is much calmer and not having many noticeable absences. His speech is very halted though and it's as if he can't see/remember where things are. We were on that ward for over three weeks and he still couldn't remember the way to the loo by the day we left.

Oh bugger, trace. It's a total PITA trying to deal with your DC's seizure and trying not to overdo it and push yourself into one. . If you need anyone to talk to....

PET is a more in depth mri where they can focus in on certain area. Didnt show anything though! Am having my hospital brekky at the mo whilst dh waits with ds. Should be going about half eleven for scan but not getting my hopes up!
