can any 1 tell me if its ok to do this

my son is in a junior wheelchair and i have made a raincover out of a old pram raincover
i have made a small hole in it to put his head through and it goes over him a treat saave spending on a proper 1 i know

just some 1 said to me its a bit intimidating can i have some thoughts on this please
