Health Insurance for Children With Autism?

Hi - I'm a newcomer to the game: have a tiddler in the process of being diagnosed with autism. Can anyone recommend private health insurance, or is that like turning lead into gold?!

You should be able to get it but it would be unlikely to cover anything autism related (so no SALT for example). When ds1 was being assessed we already had some and they paid for some assesments but wouldn't pay fir treatments. We no longer have any.
