OT school visit question

First, am I right in assuming I don't need to attend it?

Secondly, will the school actually have to listen to anything the OT says?

I don't think they are very happy abotu the visit. I mentioned it was due at the last SENCO meeting and his response was that 'we won't be changing anything as [the current situation] is working for x'

They will only have to listen if the OT suggests specific targets and puts a program in place, depending on the school as in some are good and some are not.

hmm, we will see then!

they mainly want a quiet zone for him to prevent sensory overload, and writing support (supposed to use grips, slope, etc. but school don't bother).

thanks
