First parents evening since I was told Sam was 'sly and evil' and the whole dx thing got underway. New school but still a little scared!!

Well, Sam is bonding well with the other kids and has a 'lovely personality'- .

His school work is very behind though, but as

a) they hadn't even started writing at his old school, apart from his name which they taught him to abbreviate and spell wrong (he is Samuel, they taught him SAMP to distinguish him from the other Sam)

b) he is currently without glaases due to breakage, has been for a month whilst we moved and swapped Optometrists, and has about 50% vision.

Given that Sam also has Aspergers so making friends is SO difficult for him, I am one happy and proud Mummy! [grin}
