It's so stupid to make it sound as if children 'go on' to have significant problems talking because of their parents or the TV! But still Jean has 2 grown up children without autism or any other problem so she obviously knows what she is talking about - If she was in my room, I'd turn the TV up very loud.

Journalists spin everything, that is there job.Knowing the filed of S,L & C issues as I do, I have never read an article in the press which doesn't spout shite actually on this matter.

Maybe I am being a wee bit unreasonable (WBU) but I did say I do know or understand her full story but the representation of her views in the media is awful . A headline like ' 3 year old with no words' and no other explanation will make 99.9% of parents of NT children think 'Thank goodness there are parents out there worse than me..'
