cold weather payments and DLA

Just saw on BBC website that cold weather payments have been triggered. Do you get this if your child is on DLA but don't get any other benefits?

Not had DLA before so not sure of the rules.

As far as I know we don't get it.

We did get a one off £60 last year, but not sure we will get it again.

Well the heating is on, but mainly because we finally got DH's benefits orted and we had 5 months paid in at one (yes its a bonus now but there was all that time we weren't getting it ...)

It never triggers round ehre, well very rarelybecause the met office site is up a bit towards England,whereas we'rehalfway between there and the valleys.
