Wee question about DLA??

Hiya, Jack has just been reviewed for his DLA and starting on 3/3/10(a day after his 3rd birthday) he will be eligible for more money, in the letter it breaks dwn the payments and tells me how much Jack will get weekly, does this still mean Jack will get it monthly, like he does just now??

And am I entitled to free nappies yet?? I am sure SS said ages ago we are, but nothing else has been said since, and also this week SS have sorted more respite hours for us(as I am soo stressed atm as Jack's seizures are bad again), instead of 2hrs a fortnight we are to get 2hours a week Hope everyone is well xx

you should get them from age 3 if you are in Scotland, nearer the time phone your Health Visitor who will refer him to the incontinence service, not sure what area you are in but we are north lanarkshire and get 5 a day

Sorry to seem like I'm butting in but I also have a 3 year old who gets the higher rate of DLA and have just been told that it's now 3 1/2 here (scotland) although they are also looking to change it to 4 like most other places in the UK. But I have been told to still apply again a month before she's 3 1/2 and the HV will put the referral through.

You perhaps already know this by now because it's 10/3/10 but just found the thread and was literally told that this morning.
