That old question again.....

Carers Allowance: How many hours are you allowed to work and how much can you earn.

AND

How many hours are you allowed to do voluntary work?

I know that it's been done so many times before but just can't find it when I needed it.

Thanks for your patience!

here you go

Remember the laqst rule

You must be able to live on thin air and steeeeetch a pittance to make a wage

Thanks Peachy. £95 after expenses is fine for a start back.

It says you cannot be in full-time education but doesn't mention hours as a volunteer.

Who knows if there are any rules about volunteering? I'm sure it was a regular.

just a quick mention - "full time hours" actually mean 12hrs. In college it means 12 hours of tutor time, it may mean the same for university, but I cant remember.

Not sure if thats any help at all...

They also take planned hours of home work into studying- 10 hours at Uni meant no CA for my last year (knew I wuldnt get it before that anyway, and knew I wouldnt in last year really)

you can deduct childcare as expenses ie so its £95 after you have paid tax, NI and childcare / other expenses
