BIBIC visit - report?

Hi

If any of you have been to BIBIC before for the two day assessment, can you tell me how soon after they produce a report?

I know they give feedback and go through their treatment suggestions the day after the assessments, but I wondered whether they gave you anything in writing then, or if that came later.

It would help with school.

Took about 3 weeks. Wasn't particularly hopeful about the contents for some reason, but I was surprised at how sensible and potentially useful it could be.

Thanks. Did you find the report useful for school?

TBH I haven't shared it. Not because it isn't useful, but because I've got so much else going on with the LA and the school (in final stages of statement process). I am already making a lot of demands that I don't think the school need this thrust upon them as well, but it is a useful report, and I will be using it when the time is right.

In particular I will be using it to back up my insistance that DS needs OT, which has so far been ignored.

Thanks. We are in a slightly different position as we are still going through assessment and haven't had all our reports yet so I'm hoping the BIBIC one will make things clearer for school pending assessment/diagnosis being completed.
