Arrrrrrrghhhhh!! If I hear the following questions again I might have to go and scream somewhere on my own!!!

"Am I having lunch today?" (means at playschool)

"Are we picking up x today" (means his friend from playschool)

"Is it raining?"

"Has it stopped raining?"

Have had this for months now and I am finally going insane!! PLEASE tell me this stops as they get older. Or if it doesn't stop - then LIE to me

Those questions will stop.

And be replaced by new ones.

Barmymummy · 27/11/2009 20:50

How did I know someone would say that??!!

Is that another question?

DS2 always repeats "where is dad" when DH is out, and likewise "where is mam" when I (on the rare occasion) am out.

it is enough to drive you mad, thou i am already mad

anonandlikeit · 27/11/2009 21:27

"what day today" "what day today"
Is ds2's relentless question

5inthebed · 27/11/2009 22:03

"Who in the monring" is the last thing DS2 says to me when he goes to bed.

5inthebed · 27/11/2009 22:03

morning

othermother · 28/11/2009 01:11

Who put my pyjamas on? Who put my coat on? Who put my shoes on? All said in panic mode cos he's forgotten and panics that someone other than me has done it for him.

Worse than the questions is the having to answer in exactly the correct way...correct wording, correct volume, correct intonation, correct timing...fair pisses me off it does.

But yeah, they grow out of it...

....and I tell lies :P

That for the good attempt at fibbing though

But I would LOVE it if DD could ask these sorts of questions . We haven't got much beyond "What's this?" and that's only copied from her two-year-old brother!

Barmymummy · 28/11/2009 13:33

Brioche - my DS's questions all started from "whats that/this" so fingers crossed this is the start for your DD
