Hi everyone - I just caught "The Horse Boy" on catch up tv last night and was very interested. Maybe it has been covered on threads previously - if so apologies - but I just wondered what you made of it? I have two boys with Autism so was fascinated by what the couple observed following their trip to Mongolia - does anyone know of any follow-up and how the little boy is now?

They're running UK horse boy camps now that Rupert Isaacson sometimes attends. If you're on FB you can join their group then you'll get all the updates.

we live in NI so not sure if they run them here - will keep an eye out - thanks

They probably don't yet, but I met with the people running them and they really want to get the UK covered. I will mention NI to them (dh is from there, so I should do!). The next one (which Rupert is going to) is in Scotland which wouldn't be too bad from NI.

I do know there are spaces on the Scottish camp and it looks really good. I am tempted myself but we live the opposite end of the country so I really think we should wait until they hold one closer.

i think they will be doing one in cornwall www.worldwild.co.uk/horseboy.html

they're planning to hold them all over the country eventually and to hold them very regularly.

Just contacted them about Gloucestershire, one coming up in Yorkshire in the summer too.E-mailed them & Rhoda (lovely lady!)said she would let me know in the next couple of days, about prices & places.Think we will be booking for one of them,as I am sure hippotherapy will help my dd2.
