Hooray for DLA!!!

We sent in DS2 renewal pack in the last week of October & received the award letter in the post today!!
Renewed high rate Mobility & INCREASED care from Mid to high.. I almost fainted.

I am pleased that they ahve recognised the level of his needs BUT that actuallly his needs have increased since his last award.

Congratulations!

On the positive side-its more money for you to have fun with DS!!

Not that they have grounds to refuse the high mobility but it is always a worry!

Fun.. mmm well we just have to get him to leave the house & then maybe we could do something fun

I may use it for for private swimming, he loves the water but struggles with the public pool, but there are some private pools nearby that we can rent by the hour.
It would be a nice treat to do a couple of times a month & we could go as a family.
