Took dd and ds1 to pead for initial assessment (?ASD)this morning. When examining dd (9) the pead took out stethescope and said "take off your jumper and we'll see if we can find your heart". Dd said "well that will be a bit difficult as I'd have to take off my jumper, and dress and vest and skin and then you'd have to dig around in amongst all my insides to do that and by then I'd probably be dead". Made me laugh anyway

Did the paed ask for any examples of literal thinking?

lol, thats great.

I once told dd1 (AS) to stop walking infront of the pushchair or it will go up her bottom and she said 'don't be stupid, it wouldn't fit'.
