Does any one elses child have these problems or is he just lively.Six year old boy.

He has no off button is always on the go.
Parts of his body is always permanently moving if its not his fidgeting, tapping knocking, touching, legs moving.
Can not stop talking.
Can not wait in conversations.
Interrupts.
Many times aggressive but is really quite sweat natured.
Loud.
Impatient
Things have to be his way.
If you tell him something educational and he does not think it write he will argue and tell you what really it is to him.

The plus side is very polite, kind most of the time. Very intellegent apart from he is only on Red book reading which seems to be bottom level in year 1.

He does not play very nicley with other children and they gang up on him.

Please help.

One of the many difficulties in diagnosing conditions such as ADHD in the young is that a lot of the symptoms can be shown by children who are on the less mature side for their age, have other issues such as lack of experience with socialising with other children, or different parenting experiences.
A lot of 6 year old boys would tick things on your list, some may have a sn and most will not.
You need to talk to people who work with him every day, learn more yourself about any particular sn area that you are considering and watch what he's doing that stands out as unusual.

We have recently moved to a new area in which they are very reluctant to want to go down the road of bringing in specialists as it takes up more money and paperwork and time for them.(As we all know). They even said to me they are able to manage him after changing the way they deal with him. The local Autism society are very aware of this area not being very co-operative. His previous school were more honest and said they thought he was definatly on the ASD. He has been under a pead since he was about 18 months and i am going for a 3DI assesment in 2 weeks. But because it is not so obvious even though it is to me, i just wanted to know if anyone else had the above symptoms and more info on it.

DS2 is very similar but ds2 is in a similar place DX wise- not asd I know (I have 2 to compare him with LOL),may well have ADD or dyspraxic.

We have ahd the 3DI and it was ace at narowing down the comfouncing issues (ds3 is quite amrkedly SN but his asd was harder to see a year ago) and getting to the core of the matter.

Bournmouth you can apply for your son to be assessed through your education authority - it does not need to come from the school directly. Not familiar with 3DI assessment, who does this?

I had a 3Di interview (a parental interview) a few months ago, very interesting, it concluded my ds was PDD-NOS which I agree with at the moment.

Sorry my ds not that old yet, under ASD assessment. Likes things his ways, but otherwise, not much overlapping.

Dd1 has most of your ds's traits plus a few more, she has a dx of Aspergers but now i suspect she has dyspraxia. My dd1 is almost 6 so the same age as your DS, her main problems are talking too much, butting in when people are talking and not being able to sit still/calm down.
