Hi fp, one of the websites I use to check meaning of my family blood tests says this about creatinine (personally I would zoom into the glucose/diabetes connection as musle degeneration can be association/symptom rather than the cause itself):

CREATININE
Causes of Increased:
Renal dysfunction (including obstruction)
Congestive heart failure
Starvation-dehydration
Uncontrolled diabetes (can interfere with test)
Muscle degeneration

Causes of Decreased:
Muscle atrophy
Liver disease
Pregnancy

Thanks dd is due to see neuro.
she is hypotonic and hypermobile just wondering if the raised ck meant anything towards a dx of muscle disorder?

Creatinine and creatinine kinase (ck) are not the same thing! Elevated CK levels can be indicative of muscle disorders but better to have a chat with your GP or her consultant who can look at that in the context of her other results.
