Motability - age limit

i have checked the website. is there an upper age limit to which you can apply for the hire scheme car.

i have a feeling there is a cut off. my friends nan (age 67) has offered to get her the car from the scheme. i know once you have it you can stay on it for life.

Yes but I can't remember what it is! I think you have to be of working age when first accepted and if i remember correctly have be eligable for a further ?2 years dla hr mobity. I looked into it for my retired df - think I got the info from the motability website but posted on the carers board also. confimed. Know df was not eligable.
