ds is still not sleeping hence my postings at silly oclock

I did mention to paed but she was like oh dear , but she has discharged ds from her so we dont have a paed have just about every other kind of specialist involved who do I talk to even beg for some kind of help

camhs?? we have meatonin and still not great and paed reckons as weve upped and upped the melatonin a fair bit over last year he is reluctant to up it anymore so to talk to camhs about sleep while sticking on the melatonin dose we have, ehich is better than he was without it but still not great! I was up at stupid oclock too but only just got on here as been doing a lot of damage limitation with my destructive little darling!!

we dont have cahms involved at all and dont think they would get involved as it seems all of ds problems are down to medical cause and he does not have the challenging behaviour that lot of you have to go through.

We seem to slip through all the nets

think camhs can help with just sleep strategies though?? worth asking i guess. could you get hv or gp to re-refer you to a different paed, you need your sleep and oh dear from the other one is not going to help is it! silly woman why do they get paid so much for such lack of help!

hi phoenix sorry to hear your ds still not sleeping could you speak to gp and say how hard its getting for you to function daily now with such little sleep and see if they will refer you onto someone again just say your concerned with starting school and him not sleeping and yourself also

i have heard of other stuff being prescribed other than melatonin explain no one so far has taken the sleeping issue seriously and your at the end of you tether they will have to do something then
