well will seem silly really i think

but i just gave ds the visit from the dummy fairy

he as most know is 4.3 and loves his night dummy its such a comfort and was once his only comfort but now his barney teddy seems to be his best friend thought it was right time to get rid of dummy

so i told him as were going o beach holiday the dummy fairy new he was a big boy and needs to take the dummies for all the babies hew as fine helped me collect them all up we bagged them an dhe put them outside the front door

so i said we better run and hide in his room so she can come collect them while in the i quietly lifted huge pack of knowledge books and popped them outside the door for him then i went in and said shall we see if she's been he run out saw books put hands over this mouth and said ooh thank you dummy fairy

so we took them back to his room and popped him into bed not to sleep but he likes to go at this time for peace i think anyway i found his barney pretended to listen for dummy fairy saying thank you from all the babies which he was there hand on ear big smile and i also said barney was really proud he grabbed barney and said thank you barney and cuddled and kissed him i have now left him to it

im proud of how he acted, scared in case it bothers him but also saying goodbye to my little man and having a real big boy now im so proud

its sad lol my boys not my baby now lol but its good that his more grown up and that he accepted this so easily i dont think he would if Barney hadn't turned into his best friend he loves giving him cuddles and talking to him last night i was grateful as last 2 nights waking and taking ages to settle off last night one wake and settled really easy so im glad maybe it was me needing to keep them dummies
