Hi!
Anyone have any info on this?
Apparently my DD heart is the right way round but shifted to the right.
Works fine.

But i googled..........

As DD has a rare chromosome disorder, I'm PANICKING!

Alot of stuff ive read I can rule out.

But she suffered with 'constipation' for over a year - could this now indicate something else with this new info?

Can anyone help?

Hi,
Dextrocardia refers to the heart being situated on the right side of the body.
Does your dd have Di George syndrome? Just a stab in the dark.
As for the constipation keep docs etc informed.
Take care.

Hi D!

My DD daughter doesnt have Digeorge - hers is a unique anomaly - no name for it.

Thx for your reply tho.

bsac15 - have they checked all her other organs? dextrocardia is often found with situs invertus - organs on the wrong side plus multiple/no spleen and possible malrotated bowel.

Definitely worth further checks I'd think.

Hi S!
I'm on it!
By chance I saw Community Paed today - he's booking all the tests we haven't already had.

Left a message for Paed Cardiologist - got an appt coming through for next available date.

Fingers crossed!
