Today is a day to be remembered not only is it my birthday and it is p*ssing down with rain but my 4 yr old ds has finally acknowledged the use of a coat and actually said 'coat' to have it put on!!!! Now that is a present!
Just typing final draft to support application for assessment for SEN to show Nursery in case she wants to red pen it.

Thanks Coppertop, this used to be such a battleground but in his true fashion he has found his way!!! I had hoped for Happy Birthday Mummy, or just 'happy' or 'birthday' or even 'mummy' but you know 'coat' is still the cat's whiskers to me.

Thank you!! I will keep you posted as I am in to see the new teacher for September tomorrow and having read some interesting notes regarding SEN provisions - I am feeling well confident and hot to trot (before I just felt beleaguered)
