DLA - timescales

Hi - just a quickie...

Can anyone remember how long DLA took between submitting forms and getting decisions, and from there how long it took for the vast amounts of moolah to start hitting the offshore accounts you set-up for tax-haven purposes.

We had a really quick response of about 2 weeks. Think it was another couple of days before anything was in our account( that's just our HSBC account by the way not our Swiss bank account )

I got mine in 2 weeks too.

mine was about 11 weeks here before i got decision and was about another week for money to hit bank.
I think it depends if they have to get further evidence.....obviously if they are going to need to contact the school it will take longer as schools are now shut for 7 weeks.

Lo-and-behold - a letter just dropped through the door saying they got our application - two days after we sent it guaranteed next day delivery....hmmm!

Anyway, the letter says it can take up to 8 weeks.
