itll only work if the money is there

the reason famillies like mineare missed is because there is no cash in the pot

fast or slowtrack to nothing doesn't matter, and the tory record with services isappalling

what we need to know iswhat their policy is on snu's, statements, ss funding and carer provision

yes it will need money, lots of it

TotalChaos · 16/07/2009 19:00

all laudable enough suggestions but yes will defo needs lots more money. and also more investment in services - all the HVs in the world (assuming they spot problems - DS' HV and GP didn't) won't make a difference if there aren't enough SALT/OT/physio/community paeds to refer onto.

Gosh they've been talking about this for years (not the tories, just 'they' generally). Would be good if it ever happened.

it won't happen, the money is just not there.
already our local ss are over budget(and it is only July. so where will the funding come from?

We already have this in Lewisham, it's called a Children's Centre. It took 12w to be referred by a GP but once assessed it's all on one site (SALT/physio/orthotics etc) with multi-agency meetings etc all sorted. We love it so much we're swearing not to move out of the borough.
