My daughter is 4 and low-toned, although her trunk control is good. Im in the process of doing away with the highchair!!!! Does anyone have any suggestions for a good, sturdy and quite big booster seat?

Cheers everyone.....

I would suggest getting another high chair - the Tripp-Trapp type which converts to a seat with a foot rest. My son has lowish muscle tone and he gets on quite well with that. Plus he can get in and out of it by himself and you can use it up to age 11.

I got a cheaper alternative off ebay - see
here.

If you put tripp-trapp style into ebay search you get a few similar types of things.

Sorry should say the bar part removes for an older child.

what about a car booster seat like

here

says it will suit a child from 4 - 11. You could just use stretchy straps to secure it to the seat. ( Our next move here will be to something like this when we finish decorating our dining room and dd1 will no longer eat at her own little table.)
