I have been expecting them as Amelia's care component runs out in October when she is 4!!!

I still haven't applied for mobility, I am going to do the forms in one huge swoop!

Right that's it, I don't want these forms weighing me down for months, I have got to catch up on a few card orders and then get on with it!!

Roll on negativity!

the sooner you do it and get it out the way the better - have you still got copys of the last lot - i found these useful to look over.

So we won't be hearing from you for a while then? Poor you!

Dingle · 13/05/2005 12:18

I do still have the last lot of forms but to be honest I don't know how much good they will be, Amelia was only 3/4 months old at the time. Most of the problems we had then have come and gone and we have a nice batch of "new problems" to replace them!

I was only thinking about the DLA this morning as I struggled trying to walk her into nursery. I normally let her walk home but we are at the hospital this afternoon so it is a bit of a rush.

I pondered over putting her in her buggy, but then though otherwise and walk her in, the wind was so strong, she cried nearly all the way in, and clung to my leg.

They have stuck to their rule, always send this stuff to arrive on a Friday....

Dingle · 13/05/2005 14:33

Didn't know that Davros! Why?

Good Luck with the form filling Dingle

You have just made me feel guilty about mine, which have been stagnating in my pending tray for about 6 weeks

Ds2's forms arrived earlier this week. I've been looking at ds1's photocopied form to give me some ideas. I've started section 2 and ds2 already sounds as though he probably has 666 tattooed somewhere on his head.

sparklymieow · 13/05/2005 14:39

I have had DD2's one here for about 3 months, claiming for exzema, but its getting someone to sign them to say how much time it takes... Ds and DD1 I can do really fast....

Merlot, don't feel guilty, I've had the mobility forms for a year now. Left them so long I decided to wait until I had to re-do the care component!
Sort of killing two birds with one stone!

Dingle, its not really a rule, just me being cynical. But I have noticed that we almost always got stuff from the LEA at the end of the week, sometimes on a Friday or, more often a Saturday. My theory is so that you can't phone them up and get stroppy AND because they don't finish any of their work off until the end of the week. The Inland Revenue seems to do the same thing, times I've hidden IR stuff from DH so as not to spoil a weekend
