Has anyone been here? I'm trying to organise a regional meeting in N/E for ASSERT and Ive just been told about it. Being in Manchester I have no idea about Venues in Newcastle. Is it any good? I've seen the website which looks great but a bit of first hand knowledge would be appreciated.

Thanks

The only tiny experience I've had of it is that my friend organised a birthday party for her DS there and my son was a guest. He had a good time: they saw a film in the little cinema there and all went smoothly afaik.

Don't know if that helps with assessing it as a venue for adults though.

We have been a few times and we love it. There is an amazing hydrotherapy pool, various sensory rooms, a sensory cave, a ball pool, an art/craft area and a cafe.

There is also a lovely outside area, with lovely grounds and a sensory garden.

The staff are excellent, too.Nothing is too much trouble. You need to pre-book, though. There are limits to how many people can use certain facilities at any one time, which means you don't feel crowded.
I highly recommend it.
