laumiere , the size 6 nappies you recommended from Tesco were good quality for the price, thanks.

My tip is, I cover the floor under the whole dining area under the table with clear plastic from Dunelm Mill. Being clear, it's quite unobtrusive and at £1 a metre I can change it when it gets too tomato sauce/paint/poo stained.

My tip is for pull up style trousers for school age boys - H+M and Zara usually have at least one style that are zip and button free (and accommodate a thin pull up). I haven't found inexpensive pullup school trousers over a age 8 yet. M+S do longsleeved white school polos (for sports but ds school accept instead of winter shirt) on line in late summer for kids that need button free pull on cuffs!
