proposed statement finally receieved today,

will phone IPSEA tomorrow but would apreciate any adice until then-

Says in Part 3:
"The programme to support Ds needs will be provided by the school from its total delegated budget in the context of the whole school inclusion policy. this will enable the school to provide 34.07 hours from a teaching assistant per week for his language communication and learning needs."

Should it say in this bit that it should be 1:1 and that they need to be PECS trained?

Also it says they believes ds's needs will be met in mainstream school. I disagree. Is that a suggestion or their decision- meaning I can only select a ms school?

hmm do you have speech communication in part 2 and 3 .thats where i have got it stated that anyone working with my son must be makton trained/experianced also trained in other verbal/non verbal communication forms

the 1-1 seems to be issue for us all we not got it stated yet , but we will

and its only suggestion whe your finally happy with statement , you put school in part 4
