today dd4 had another peadi appointment, and she was a star. she went over to dr when called by her name and stood on height/weight thingy when asked.... didnt speak any words or do any signing ,think it was because dd's routeen had been changed for today... anyway peadi is very pleased and spoke of dd4's improvements! (eye contact answering to name ect) yay!.... at this point dd4 suddenly decided to meltdown and was "in the zone" -with an elastic band under the dr's desk... ds4 decided it looked good fun and joined her. So ive got twins screaming their heads off and a peadiatrition trying to talk "plan of action for dd4" and i couldnt take it in, ....prior to meltdown , dr managed to say she's wanting dd4 to go for a mri scan(????) and more detailed genetic tests...So do not have a clue about the rest of the appointment, just sat there nodding , amist the shreaking , not hearing ,not having the foggiest tbh. peadi was smileing a lot so think its good, whatever it was.

Will he send a copy of the gp report to you? Hope your ears have survived

oh dear im glad dd was good for paed until they decided to melt down

you should receive a report but if you dont explain to gp what happened and ask to read the letter sent to them or request a letter from paed explaining you were unable to remember all information given to you

i hope it was good news for you anyway im glad dd improved alot and its been noticed too

At least the paed managed to get her weighed and measured before the meltdown. My ds2 doesn't even get this far.

You'll get a report on what was said anyway, so try not to fret.

Well done DD4 on the iporvements
