Hello TheMadHouse, hope you are feeling better (thinking back to some of your FOOC threads). I was hoping this thread would winkle Eidsvold out as I don't think she's posted for a long time. That is such a lovely pic of her DD!
Drlove8...is that why you have so many kids - all those cute babies...? (I'm just SO impressed by people with large families as I find two is quite enough work!)

Me too BD I am on the mend. Got my prostethis this week, although I can not manage them for a long time, it is nice to have breasts again!

oh thank you for all your kind words - she is now almost 7 years old. She was one there. It was part of a whole stack of photos taken for her part in the Annual Report of the DSA in the UK.

Davros - just the three - dd3 is wild - lovely and very cute but very bright and very wild!!! Any more would tip me over the edge.

Dd1 is now full time mainstream school with a teacher who thinks inclusion is a real and very important and worthwhile thing and so dd1 is flourishing. In fact her teacher is already getting sad about having to pass her on at the end of the year to someone else.

Davros - we live on a hill so thankfully okay although the girls were sent home from school early on Wednesday as part of emergency procedures by the police to get as many people home and off the roads as possible. One of the worst flooded streets is where we were the day before for a hospital appt!!

Eidsvoid , its great to hear that your DD is doing so well.

not only is she on the BBC website but she has been asked to appear along with others who have sn in a documentary about the disabled surfing association. She went for the first time on the last one for the summer in march. Everyone there was taken with her larger than life personality and her enthusiasm and they called today and asked if we wanted to go surfing next weekend for the documentary.

Pretty cool. It will be shown in Aus later in the year. Just hope the weather holds and the water is not tooo cold.
