I have just recieved Wilf's AAR.....his home language was registered as English........I had a real to do with the LEA two years ago as they were being tricky about putting English and BSL (british sign language) on it. I won that battle so i was a little put out that BSL was omitted on his AAR today so I have rung school up and asked them to amend it.
I was so cross when the LEA were being tricky as i thought it was an insult to the time that Wilf and I have both spent learning BSL!!

I used to work with a child that had BSL as his language and parents language was English so Mum and Dad had BSL as 2nd lang and child had English as 2nd Lang. Used to confuse the LEA no end!!!
