i have just got my app to se the gene doc for lb 28months has anybody been and what goes on ?? any advice/help thanks

there have been quite a few threads about this if you search, but basically they do a family tree/history, ask about thepregnancy and birth, take photos, measure and weigh your child, may do some development checks and then they look for any genetic pointers for syndromes etc. Afterwards they may suggest further tests.

It is actually quite draining if I am honest but I suppose it is worth it if you get a diagnosis (we never did)

We've just had our genetics appt, if you have other children take some photos of them with you too. The geneticist was very interested in these. Otherwise, all as Ladyfio says.

They may want to take photo's of your child at the appt.

And don't be surprised if they say they don't want to see you again for a while.
