Today ive had enough! Dd4 is having a bad day, she's screaming and destroying things and wont eat and wants to use poo as playdoh! .Her twin ,ds4 is joining in and waving coat hangers about and throwing them at dd4.Weighted blanket isnt working ,i just want to cry. I am supposed to be writing out an appeal letter to the local housing.I handed in a medical form, with a copy of dd4's dla award letter and a note from HV,to back it up... and have been told dd4 is not awarded any points as she has no real need! wtf? .So dd4 wont be getting her own room after all, she's still in her cot-bed in my room. There is no-where for her to have a quiet space just for her to calm down..

Drlove - have you got a garden? Would it be safe to slap on the sun screen and get them outside? Let them mess around with some water or something like that?

drlove8 · 22/04/2009 15:53

yes i have a garden, but its shared with neighbours who have kindly turned it into the local tip, and broken my dc's garden toys(swings and two climbing frames with slides).so unfortunatly the garden isnt safe as there is also druggie needles out there.. its disgusting as we are 5 mins from local hospital who have needle exchange and 10 mins from recyling centre.

Hmmmm - how about having a splash in the bath?

MissCake · 02/04/2010 21:26

Take pictures of the needles, show you H.O , get them to do something, thats just disguisting of your neigh!

Drlove- we were in the same situation with housing, in the end we managed to get a letter from our GP saying the dd's needed their own rooms due to the fact they don't sleep and they have different needs (dd1 likes a messy room and dd2 will need a empty room to be able to sleep without distraction). We are now on the list for a 3 bed house and even though we are top of the list we have been waiting 8 months with no sign of any suitable 3 bed houses . Dd2 has no quite space, she sleeps in the sitting room and i sleep on the sofa so she does'nt hurt herself when she wakes in the night .

Keep fighting, like others have said, take pictures of the needles and keep on to them.

Wow, - this was from last year!

Hope things have improved DrLove!

drloves8 · 03/04/2010 22:38

hello SMack ...thanks for the hope ....quick update, no move yet , but have appealed council decision and now have medical points for dd4. neighbours getting worse , dd4 has had her DX now, but on the positive side there has been no poo smearing recently..... its been substitited by running taps and flooding the house by stuffing the plugholes full of soap/loo roll/socks ect. ....still its a small step in the right direction.

wraith · 03/04/2010 23:54

could be worse she could have blocked them with poo :D

good luck
