I had a new ds on Saturday . Ds1 ASD is not taking to him to well. He is ignoring him and he pushed him away when I tried to introduce him. Its very difficult already and Dp is on paternity leave at the moment. However it was Ds's 4th birthday today and he has had a lovely time and even got excited about his presents which is a real improvement. Will see how it goes.

Congratulations on your new DS!! And happy birthday DS1!
Try not to worry about DS1 not taking any interest in DS2, some NT kids do this as well so hopefully he will come around to the newness.
DS2 was touch and go when DS3 came on the scene, especially when DS3 cried. He is getting used to it slowly but surely. He isn't impressed that DS3 now "moves" by rolling over and tries to touch him.

Congrats and happy birthday to ds1.
Ds1 didnt like ds2 for about 7/8 months then ds2 started crawling so ds1 has someone to chase him now and when ds2 cries ds1 stacks him with toys so he loves the fact he can stack things with out being told not to. In fact ds1 now smiles his best smiles at ds2. And i thibk he even sees it as his job to stop ds2 crying as soon as he whimpers ds1 gives him something. he also amuses him when he is in his highchair. all this from someone who would not even look at ds2 for 6 months.
The only bad thing is he gets really upset when ds2 cries so he is getting rather spoilt being picked up all the time

Congrats Staryeyed and Happy Birthday to your DS1.
We tried to prepare DS for DD's arrival and I carried around a Baby Annabel which he ignored but it totally freaked out DH when I answered the door to him late in the pg carrying it - fool thought I'd had a baby, come home and was walking around answering doors
