I have often wondered why care homes do not have legal staff to patient ratios like pre school nurseries. Or do they, but just ignore them?

The first comment was really horrible.

Care homes do have staff to patient ratios and have to keep to them but they are crap, when I worked in a home we had 1 staff member to 5-6 patients and some of them took two to lift.
That first comment is from some narrow minded person who hasn't got a clue but thinks she has.
