spitting

hi i have a lb 28months old who spits on the sofa/floor and rubs it in and thinks its funny hes got gdd and sn anyone had the same problem

My DD2 (21 mo with GDD) does similar in that if there is any water or food anywhere she has to smear it but I'm always so happy because she does it with a pointy finger.

Could your DS be doing it for a reaction? If I laugh or say no or react to something in any way DD2 will do it again without fail.

Your post did make me I think at this age they are already testing the boundaries.
