Bought some dvds on Saturday, one of which is Peppa Pig for DS2. He has been a right handful today, so decided he could watch it. The bloody red security tags are still on!!! I can't open the box . Ds2 has been having a meltdown for 45 minutes now and it doesn't seem to be ending. I'm trying to ignore him while he strops around screaming and yelling "Peppa" at the top of his voice.

I called the shop, and have to take them back in. I am going to go skatty with the customer service people tomorrow, it just isn't fair . Plus I don't have the receipt anymore so have to go straight to the security guard just incase the alarm goes off. Well it didn't go off leaving the shop, so doubt it will go off going back in.

if its a red tag the way it works is to break the disc

however if you cut open the spine o the case it can be defused thatway

This happened to my sister, when she prized it off it wrecked the disk, so be careful.
You may have difficulty getting them to remove the tags without a receipt, as its going to look like you've stolen them.

Its one of those red tag thingies, no way I'm going to try prise it open. Said tantrum lasted nearly 2 hours and he is finally in bed! A mixture of tiredness and the clocks missing an hour yesterday I think. I think I need a glass of wine!
