today dd4 had a meeting with the peadiatric phycologist in nursery.... much like the meeting we had a few weeks ago but with the phycologist leading everyone... today it has been worked out a learning strategy for dd4. as she is a " tactile" person, who seeks sensory stimulation it has been decided to use a multi sensory aproach to teach her... using music, sound and anything tactile( sand ,water, playdough ect). Finally feel im getting somewhere with the nursery as had suggested it last summer and now there going for it,(because the phycologist backed me up i think).am very very pleased.. had some of the morning with dd4 in the nursery, watching her with her teacher, he says she is slowly improving and has learned animals noises in the last week! - have also been told dd is getting better around other kids now, she tolerates them moving into "her" space and doesnt meltdown now when they get too close!her next step is to learn to play one to one with another child, something simple like pass the ball.... am looking forward to what comes next! >
