Secretin in ASD. Anyone tried?

I have read alot recently about the use of homeopathic secretin in ASD children, esp those who have also suffered bowel problems. I was just wondering what your thoughts are, if you have tried it etc??

Haven't heard about this before, what is it or what does it do. Would be interested, DS2 has an ASD and gut problems.

i do not have any personal experience, but i'm currently reading GEORGE AND SAM by charlotte moore.

she is writing about her 2 autistic sons, one of which had secretin injections. she had some positive results, but states that she also removed gluten from his diet at about the same time, so it was difficult for her to assess how direct a part the injections played in the improvement.

interesting book, mind you, about lots of things related to autism.
